Assessment

Assessments will not be graded.  I will be using two kinds of assessments in my classroom this year formal and informal.  Formal assessments will be state testing and MAP testing which will scheduled ahead a time and students will be informed of the dates.  They will be testing in the areas of math and Reading for the purpose of looking at groups of students learning and progress.

Informal assessments occur though out the academic year as part of the students daily classroom experience.  This  form of assessments helps me to assess students progress and comprehension as we are learning.
